Psycholeadership®
Identity, leadership, and people in exposed positions
Nicolas Tacussel is the creator of Psycholeadership®, a method he began developing in 2008, focused on identity, leadership presence, and the ability to act when pressure disrupts a person's internal compass.
For more than fifteen years, he has worked with executives, entrepreneurs, elite athletes, and public figures during moments when success or adversity upends their inner equilibrium.
Beyond the title, he works with the person, not the title.
What is at stake is deeply human, rooted in personal history long before it becomes professional.
Psycholeadership® rests on a simple principle: when a person's role or status shifts, more than the situation changes.
Their entire sense of self must adapt: their beliefs, values, and ways of thinking, deciding, and acting.
An entrepreneur sells the company that gave structure to their life and throws themselves into new ventures, yet cannot regain a sense of direction.
An athlete wins the tournament that was supposed to change everything, only to find that what once came naturally has become difficult to reproduce.
A public figure goes through a breakup just as public attention intensifies and finds their equilibrium shaken far beyond the event itself.
In each case, the visible issue may appear financial, athletic, strategic, or relational.
The deeper shift is one of identity: the way the person sees themselves, makes decisions, and acts no longer works as it once did.
Such upheavals do more than change the present.
They often reactivate parts of a person's history: their relationship to recognition, security, legitimacy, success, and failure.
Nicolas's work is to restore clarity when a person loses their bearings.
To recover the core.
To distinguish what belongs to the role from what belongs to the person.
Then to rebuild a way of acting that fits the new reality.
His approach was shaped in high-pressure environments, where success, responsibility, and the loneliness of decision-making often go hand in hand.
It has also been put to the test in a radically different setting.
In 2014, Nicolas Tacussel founded Smile for Ukraine, an NGO supporting the psychological recovery of orphans and families affected by war.
There, he also trains the professionals who support them in the Psycholeadership® method.
This work has repeatedly taken him into war zones, environments where pressure leaves no room for error.
He has built his practice outside conventional promotional channels.
Limited public exposure, few public appearances, few programs open to the public.
A direct, discreet, and selective way of working.
This site is not designed to persuade.
It exists to present a body of work, a method, and a way of working.
